LAND ROVER TECHNICIAN

HOURS – 42.5 a week, Monday to Friday

NO SATURDAY work and an early finish on Fridays if we’ve caught up on all the work load. We’re committed to ensuring our team has time for their personal lives while also enjoying a fulfilling career.

As a Land Rover Technician, here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Taking care of general servicing and repairs, particularly on Land Rover vehicles
• Using your technical knowledge and skills to the fullest 
• Carrying out diagnostic plugins and fault finding using (autologic, pathfinder and SDD)
• Using JLR workshop manuals (topix) to find and carry out relevant diagnostic procedures with assistance from the service manager
• Building great relationships with customers and colleagues
• MOT testing classes 4-7 (this is not essential but a bonus if qualified)

Here are some key points to keep in mind:

• It’s essential to have a good grasp of automotive systems in particularly Land Rover vehicles. 
• Willingness to carry out major repairs such as timing chains, turbos & engine overalls
• Being a problem-solver is a big plus!
• You should be great at working with a team but also be able to take the lead when needed
• Having a full and valid UK driving license is essential
• Own supply of tools is preferable

SALARY – Dependant on experience but will range from £40,000 to £50,000 a year, along with a £2000 signing-on bonus payable after a year of employment.
