As well as fitting and balancing tyres here at GX we are also able to carry out Wheel alignment. The wheel alignment of your car has a big impact on the lifespan of your tyres. Bad alignment can cause your tyres to lean into one another which will cause abnormal wear to the tread. Your car will also have to work much harder than normal, which can lead to burning more fuel, damaging your suspension and hampering your steering.

We carry out two different types of wheel alignment:
2 wheel alignment
Also known as tracking, this is ideally suited to most vehicle makes and models. 2 wheel alignment is normally carried out when new tyres are fitted but can also need to be carried out when replacing certain suspension parts.
4 Wheel alignment
Ideally suited for 4×4 vehicles and vehicles fitted with adjustable rear suspension. 4 wheel alignment is normally carried out when new tyres are fitted but can also, again similar to 2 wheel alignment, need to be carried out when replacing certain suspension parts on 4x4s and vehicles with adjustable suspension.
When carrying out 4 wheel alignment, sometimes we can come across seized suspension such as track rod end & inner rack knuckles. In the unfortunate event of this happening on your vehicle, rest assured we have the facilities and latest equipment here at GX to unseize any components at fault.
